Equipment Dealership Service Manager
German-Bliss Equipment Inc. located in Princeville, IL on Route 90, has a great career opportunity available immediately for a service manager. This is a full-time position with benefits and competitive salary plus commission starting at $40,000-$50,000
annually.
Ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in a service environment with solid technical knowledge of equipment used by homeowners, commercial, and agriculture for any outdoor use. Product lines include Kubota, Polaris, Exmark, Gehl, New Holland, Kinze, Land Pride, Stihl, Honda and any other major brands.
Service Manager Job Purpose: Responsible for maximizing revenue by attracting customers and increasing the value of each service job. Ensures that all members of the team understand the importance of customer satisfaction and develops culture of improving service standards.
Service Manager Job Duties:
o Services existing customer accounts and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing work schedule necessary to implement marketing plan.
o Ensures efficient service process required to improve throughput time and revenue cycle within a safe work environment.
o Keeps management informed by submitting labor analysis, weekly revenue, and semi-monthly reports of performance results.
o Consistently communicates departmental performance results and provides informative feedback on the status of meeting objectives and attaining company goals to management.
o Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, making recommendations to management.
o Manages service department personnel in accordance to company policy and procedures.
o Focuses on improving professional and technical knowledge through attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and online training programs for service team.
